Honoring Our Student-Athletes
[/vc_column_text][image_with_animation image_url=”1008079″ alignment=”” animation=”Fade In” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” max_width=”100%”][vc_column_text]On Wednesday, May 19, 2021, family, friends, faculty, and staff gathered around the Knox Victory Bell to celebrate the student-athletes from the Class of 2021. In an unusually challenging school year, where competitive sports were placed “on hold,” this hard-working group of students continued to train their bodies and minds while staying focused on their athletic and academic pursuits.
During the Senior Appreciation Day ceremony, each student had their moment in the spotlight! Walking through a pathway of banners displaying each senior’s portrait, students received applause from the crowd before ringing the Knox Victory Bell for one final time before graduation.
This event would not have been possible without the support from the Knox Parent and Student Association who prepared lovely gifts for each student-athlete, Director of Athletics Majestic Mapp, Coaches Vazquez and Doughty, our facilities team, Mr. Wagner and Mr. Giuliano, and the parents and friends who joined us on this special day.
