The studio is where the ideas become real.
Knox Theatre stages three productions a year — a fall play, a winter studio show, and a spring musical. Auditions are open to every student, and there is no such thing as a small department: students design lights, build sets, run sound, stage-manage, and direct.
Faculty direct the mainstage work, but the winter studio show is entirely student-led — chosen, cast, designed, and directed by students, with faculty as advisors. It’s where a lot of our best theatre happens.

What does a typical academic day look like?
Students carry a balanced load of six to seven courses, with built-in time for advising, extra help, and independent study. Block scheduling means longer, deeper class periods and a calmer daily rhythm — with afternoons reserved for athletics, arts, and activities.
