This year at Ronald McDonald House, students had the opportunity to tour the main common area, the academic bridge room where children receive tutoring, a family room and the “Mets Room” which was donated by the New York Mets. This experience gave students insight on what it is like for family members to live at the House while loved ones receive life-saving treatments. NHS Advisor Mrs. Donna Pergola reflected on the efforts of NHS, stating, “Our students realize that their contribution goes far deeper than just raising money and dropping off gifts. I am proud to see their dedication for helping children and families who are facing such challenging life-struggles.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
